JUNE Speaker

The speaker for the evening will be Nancy Lee-Colibaba.
Nancy is a horticulture technician who has been involved in horticultural therapy at Royal Botanical Gardens for 37 years. Now retired, she continues to raise public awareness through education and horticultural programs to various community groups. We are thrilled to have her come and share her knowledge with us. www.notlhortsociety.com

Nancy Lee-Colibaba was raised on a farm in Norfolk county and developed a love of plants at an early age. She went on to hone her skills at Niagara College, Guelph University and Humber College.
In the early 1980’s, she joined the Royal Botanical Gardens and furthered her education in the field of Horticultural Therapy, joining the Master Gardeners in 1984. She enjoys teaching horticulture and horticultural therapy, and continues to learn and pass on that knowledge now that she is retired, as well as maintaining her perennial and vegetable gardens at home. --https://alumlc.org/mcmaster
