Youth Program

Hagersville Public School and River Heights in Caledonia have partnered with Haldimand Horticulture Society to create a raised vegetable garden at the schools.  The pallets were donated by ANC  and Gibson Building Supplies of Brantford. The Special Projects Group of Caledonia kindly built the raised beds.  The students are filling the beds with soil donated by Haldimand Horticulture Society and will soon be planting vegetable seeds to maintain all summer.  We are hoping for a bountiful harvest this fall of beans, pumpkins, tomatoes and other healthy vegetables.
